No sooner said than done. Here on the Zwischenahner Meer, we have created a favourite place that combines genuine coastal love with warm hospitality: a 4-star hotel in the beautiful Ammerland region of Lower Saxony, between Oldenburg and Westerstede .

Why actually 53°?

Our love of the sea is no coincidence. Our roots lie on the beautiful island of Langeoog and we are a genuine host family. It can't be a coincidence that both Bad Zwischenahn and Langeoog are located on the 53rd parallel. It was meant to be.

In our Treibholz restaurant, you can feast to your heart's content, even on the sun terrace in good weather. And our MeerOase wellness area is perfect for relaxing in the sauna, putting your feet up and taking a deep breath in your bathrobe on the outdoor terrace.

At the 53° Hotel, you can set sail directly: the ships of the White Fleet will take you over to Bad Zwischenahn - Lower Saxony's top spa resort and the largest municipality in the Ammerland region. A mud spa since 1919, surrounded by beautiful parkland with avenues, tree nurseries and rhododendrons in every colour you can imagine. Well worth a visit!

Of course, we have no control over the weather. But when the sun is shining, you can enjoy it from morning to night. Our hotel in Bad Zwischenahn is so cleverly located that the sun's rays tickle your nose all day long. Sunbreak needed? There are also cosy shady spots under the old trees and on our terrace!
